Welcome to McNitt Growers!

We can meet all your spring and fall planting needs! We specialize in growing premium, quality, spring bedding plant crops, as well as fall strawberry plug plants.

We consist of 1.25 acres of greenhouse space. We grow some of the finest bedding plants in the area for both wholesale and retail. Our first plants with be available April 1st and have them until Mother’s Day. Selection is best early so shop early. We begin selling Strawberry plugs in June and have the first ones ready to ship the last part of August.

Hey friends! If you’ve been around Southern Illinois for a while, you might know our story—we’ve been growing here since 1987. But if you’re new, welcome! What started as our parents' 138-acre orchard has grown (quite literally) into a family-run greenhouse and strawberry plant nursery.

We’ve been planting, growing, and getting our hands in the dirt for over 30 years and, more than anything, we love being a part of this community—helping neighbors, fellow growers, and families fill their spaces with beauty, life, and homegrown goodness. We can’t wait to see you this season!
